Produced and directed this project for Beam/Electrolux

Once upon a time I made a couple videos in high school, became a 19-year-old sports photojournalist in Florida interviewing a future NFL Super Bowl MVP and photographing a future Hall of Fame MLB player. Those experiences and film school opened the door to a career in media production.

Production in New York City

For more than 25 years I’ve worked in film, video, TV, and radio traveling to all 50 states and to five continents. It’s been an eclectic mix of work, from filming America’s Downhill in Aspen, shooting from a sea plane over the Amazon River, producing national TV programs, producing commercials and documentaries, national brands (Google, Subaru, Blue Bunny Ice Cream, John Deere) covering the famed Iowa caucuses, working with NFL legends (Deion Sanders, Eric Dickerson, Reggie White), and shooting over 400 interviews—including two Holocaust survivors for Steven Spielberg’s Shoah Project, and one almost surreal shoot with Norman Borlaug, one of the few people in history to be awarded a Nobel Peace Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Congressional Gold Medal. Nobel Peace Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal.

Along the way my work has won two Regional Emmys, multiple Telly and Addy Awards, an Aurora, and three “Best Cinematography” awards for short films where I was director of photography.

Field produced and shot this project with NFL great Tony Siragusa in his New Jersey home
